Arrow Spinner

After some time spent going through similar DIY projects, trips to the hardware store, looking for a nice piece of salvaged wood and with machining contributions by Ex Machina, this slo-mo project finally got completed. Our arrow spinner is now ready for use by Eagles and fellow Club Members 🙂

Nov 2015 Month End 2D Shoot

We had 10 archers shooting at the 2D shoot last weekend.  There were a few that had not done 2D or 3D shoots before.  We modified the rules to keep it simple.

Archers chose from two set of distances:

Set 1 – 10m,  15m,  18m and 25m (4 targets)

Set 2 – 15m, 18m, 25m and 30m (4 targets)

Unlimited practice until 10am. Target faces were put up then.

We shot 3 rounds of 4 distance ends each.

We used a simple scoring system of  3,2,1 points  (Kill, Vital, wound).
